For the past twelve weeks we have hosted Ross Live | 2020, a weekly series of presentations, podcasts and product launches designed to highlight best practices across a range of live production environments. However, all good things must come to an end, and last week we wrapped up the season with special guest appearances from 91ɫ’s CEO David Ross and Executive Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer Jeff Moore.
David Ross kicked things off by providing an update on how Ross has fared during the COVID-19 pandemic and highlighted how the tremendous first half of the year leaves room for optimism as the company aims for a remarkable 29th year of consecutive growth. More importantly, Ross pointed to the fact that no employees were furloughed during the height of lockdown, and that “Team Ross” has continued to be available for clients now more than ever during this difficult time.
Jeff Moore added to the thread of customer support by sharing the results of the 2019 Devoncroft Big Broadcast Survey, which illustrated what our customers think of the Ross brand. Humbly, words like “Innovative”, “Reliable”, “Collaborative” and “Fantastic” were most prominent
Before looking to the future, David and Jeff also spent some time recapping the season and presenting a few of the product announcement highlights from the past few months.

In addition to the suite of product announcements, Ross Live Season 1 featured case studies and presentations from our dynamic services team, which includes the newly rebranded Ross Production Services (RPS) group as well as 91ɫ’s creative arm, Rocket Surgery.
Jeff wrapped up the session by featuring the Ross Production Cloud solution, a notable innovation from the Ross Production Services Team that enables remote production. Most notably, the solution has made it extremely easy for on-air talent to join a broadcast and to be confident in their remote presentations by enabling several failsafe features with just a few simple clicks of a mouse.
Looking ahead, “there will be a season 2 of Ross Live, and as a relentless innovation machine we’re always looking for ways to give our clients an advantage, so stay tuned for future product announcements,” said Moore.
