CEO David Ross says, 鈥淚 am extremely proud to be breaking ground on our factory expansion. This event combines our commitment to my hometown of Iroquois, a low carbon footprint green facility, and a major increase of our manufacturing capacity to serve our growing global customer base.鈥�听

Ross is one of three Cornwall-area businesses receiving Ontario government funding with nearly $3 million in Regional Development Program Invested.听The Ontario government鈥檚 investment will听help strengthen domestic manufacturing and听stimulate economic听development听in the Cornwall听area.听At Ross, this听investment will听facilitate听over听40听jobs听in听manufacturing,听with further听positions听being created听as听a result of听the company鈥檚听continued growth.听

Ontario Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Vic Fedeli, says,听鈥淥ur government鈥檚 top priority throughout the pandemic has been protecting the province鈥檚 health and protecting our jobs and economy.听These projects will make a significant impact in communities and economies in Eastern Ontario. They will enable long-term measurable outcomes, including private-sector investments, job creation and retention, and strong regional growth.鈥澨�听听

Ross听is investing $15 million in the听55,000-square-foot facility expansion to build space for two major production lines in Iroquois.听This investment will assist in the听expansion of the听Iroquois facility,听fund the听purchase听of听new equipment, and听add听local听capacity听for听consolidation of听operations听from听international acquisitions.听The听expansion听will also increase production efficiencies, facilitate听innovation听and expand sales into new markets.听听

Ross congratulates the two听other Cornwall-area projects听receiving funding.听According to the听Ontario government, it听is听investing more than $100 million through the Regional Development Program from 2019 to 2023听to support鈥痙istinct regional priorities and challenges.听听
