The Challenge
BSCMP鈥檚 ongoing challenge was that the available cloud-based production technology didn鈥檛 work the way traditional operators were used to.
They were constantly working around limitations in cloud-based tools to present a comfortable simple interface to their technicians and clients.听听听听
Finding experienced operators was also challenging because of the shift toward software-defined production systems. This required extensive training time, even for skilled operators who were already familiar with traditional hardware interfaces. As a smaller company pushing the boundaries of cloud production, they also often had trouble getting their technology vendors to understand what they were trying to do or what new Business Models the Cloud offers.听听
BSCMP was looking for a system that would integrate with their existing workflows and that operators using their existing hardware solutions would be familiar with.听听
