Introduction

PMG specializes in corporate consulting, event creation, content development and television broadcasting, working with national clients who count on their marketplace expertise and innovative approach to sports production and marketing. The Challenge

Broadcasting high school sports presents unique challenges. Unlike college or professional arenas, many high school venues lack essential broadcast infrastructure such as cabling, suitable camera positions, power, lighting, and other issues, including often unreliable internet.

These limitations mean that much of this infrastructure must be brought in, set up, and tested on-site, out of mobile production units, and that can be taken away quickly once the event ends.ÌýÌý

These infrastructure challenges, tight turnarounds, and venues not built for TV broadcasting require fast, often unorthodox, solutions and a production team that’s highly experienced, efficient, and agile.ÌýÌý

The Solution

Ross Production Services has been an indispensable partner for Paragon, providing the technology and support needed to overcome these challenges.

The RPS fleet of mobile units and vast crew network has allowed Paragon to reliably expand its coverage to more high schools and their fans than ever before, with a mind toward economy and a limited budget. RPS can scale up or down depending on the game’s broadcast exposure. RPS is also working with Paragon to implement on-field, virtual adverts to create an additional source of revenue.

Ross is such a great partner for us. They’re consistent, and they follow through. They always deliver on what they say they will do. New technology keeps emerging, and Ross is at the cutting edge.
