The ECO8000 is a 1RU automatic changeover system which, when combined with both the Primary and Backup SPG8000A units, provides a fully redundant and fault tolerant master reference system. The ECO8000 accepts outputs from a pair of SPG8000A Reference Generators, and the ECO8000 handles automatic failover / changeover function based on any single signal failure, creating a fully fault tolerant system. Each channel has a Primary input, a Backup input, a Common output and a relay or Electronic Fast Switching that switches one of the inputs to the Common output. All BNC channels measure both the 鈥減rimary and 鈥渂ackup鈥� signals.
The ECO8000 ships standard with dual 鈥渉ot swappable鈥� power supplies which are directly accessible from the front panel.
