MOS workflows allow the newsroom user to create their own graphics using templates the art department may create. When a material is created using a video asset, the default setting for videos is looping. When a scene is used as a MOS template, the settings for the default material is inherited by the video element dropped into the template in the newsroom.
If the default material, used as the placeholder, is set to PLAY ONCE, the video elements dropped into that template by the newsroom user will not loop. The best way to handle this is to use a placeholder element with the desired settings for a replaceable asset. It is also wise to use something like a station logo or show logo, in case the replaceable video asset is from an openMAM or Order Management System and the desired asset isn’t delivered in time for air.
